I have never been a fan of New Year's~ I love holidays and parties, but New Year's has never done it for me. However, I still try to make it a fun night. But last night was the lamest New Year's Eve we've ever had.
Our night pretty much ended the same way :) We went with friends to see Legally Blonde at the Kennedy Center - the first time we've actually ever gone out on New Year's together! We thought we should do something a little special this year because it's our first one married. But after the show, we rushed home to change into pjs and enjoy a pizza while watching Flight of the Concords. I think we had more fun at home than we did out and we'll probably end up staying in next year :)
p.s. The Simon Pearce shop is unfortunately a good drive from DC. The closest one that I know of is up in West Chester, PA which is a few hours from DC. But if you made it into an overnight trip, it'd be worth going to! It's a really cute area to explore.
I love that in one picture your wearing head phones, and the next hubs is playing guitar... may be someone was trying tune the other one out?? LOL - you guys are so funny!!
