Wedding Flowers

One of the projects we tackled during my parents' visit was unpacking my craft room.  There was a large plastic basket (I got a thing for them, I tell 'ya) filled with wedding decor items.

This included thirteen flower bundles, the flowers were tied to our aisle chairs.

I didn't want to just toss them, my sister and I spent a long time creating them (never mind the cost) and of course I had a sentimental attachment to the flowers. But I just didn't know what to do with them- I mean they are fake flowers (i.e. not so chic) and the colors don't really fit our house. This would be why they have sat in a box for close to three years.  Thank goodness for my mom's creativity.

Purple hydrangea wreath perfect for summer/fall, especially since I was lacking something for the door.

LOVE it!

With or without the ribbon?

The color is perfect (with the wall and curtain you can't see), and I love the texture on the container.

Did you repurpose anything from your wedding?

It's difficult to see in the photo..can you still see the great texture or should the ribbon be a bit narrower? I had a great time doing even that little bit of crafting :>. YUP!!!
