Wax On, Wax Off (I hope)

One of my candles (from a new centerpiece I still need to post)  melted, a lot, all over my quilted table runner.  I peeled a bunch off, and even stuck it in the freezer to try and pry more out.  However there is still a good bit of wax on (and I think even inbetween the layers) the fabric.  How do I get it out/off?

The current state of my poor table runner.

Warm iron on a paper towel over the spill - should take it up without much trouble!

What Emily said. My roommate in college taught me that trick.

You know me, I would say go buy a new one because I have no tricks of the trade to get wax off. Sorry. Good luck.

The iron trick works. Just change the paper towel when it gets some wax on it or you'll just be ironing the wax back onto the fabric. It will take a few ironings, Leigh.

Frozen wax also comes off pretty easily. I've never tried the ironing trick, though. That sounds smarter. =)

we knocked a candle over onto the carpet and wax went alll over. We put a damp towel over it and ironed. Worked like a charm, I was amazed!

Paper towels, changing them after each press...you must press, not drag the iron.
