The Eyes To My House

I guess if eyes are the window to your soul, than a house's windows are it's eyes???  And if that is the case, than are blinds and curtains it's eyelashes? 


Okay, enough metaphors- on to the good stuff.  One of the projects on my to-do-before-family-comes-for-Thanksgiving list, was window treatments for the dinning and living rooms.  At this time the bedrooms and craft rooms have basic white, faux wood blinds for privacy and light-blocking, so these are the first curtains we've hung.  


There are no before photos, I think we all know what bare windows look like

I love looking at our new window treatments; I keep fidgeting with the curtains.  It is a bit ridicules how happy I am about them.
