Cherry Blossoms

Last weekend we went to see the cherry blossoms.  This is a big DC tradition, meaning it is packed 24-7 and there are a ton of tourists.  John and I were both off on Fri so we drove in (so we could bring Chester) at 2pm and it took 1 hour to find parking.  Although we are experiencing some cold temps (and waiting for snow), it was a nice, sunny day.

This is what the boys did within an hour of our return.

What did you do this weekend?

Geez...are you making my son-in-law sleep on the floor? And poor Chester can't keep his eyes open! YUP!

I'm glad to know my husband isnt the only one who randomly falls asleep during the day on weekends(and sometimes even on the floor)

Haven't been to see the Cherry Blossoms in 2 years because last time it was so traumatic trying to find parking! Good idea to go in the middle of the day - did you wind down from the trip with a glass of wine? That's how I recovered from my last trip.
